A Closer Look on Men’s Fashion -- Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Seasons changes as the months go by, so as with fashion. Fashion goes in cycle motion and even though we think that fashion is a repetitive cycle; it always has something new to offer because as the years go by new creative fashion designers adds up to the fashion industry and create a whole new look out of the vintage. And that’s the birth of the new line of fashion for a certain year and season.
Yesterday, men are wearing white tube socks halfway up the calves, garage sale t-shirts and shorts from the 1970s for their daily outfits. To attend a ball or a social gathering expects that moms already prepared a freshly ironed outfit draped on the bed for the men on the house. Mothers and wives are the one scouting and setting up the suits to be worn by their sons and husbands without really asking if they want to wear it or not. That’s among the roles of women, to help with choosing or determining the perfect outfight for their men’s occasion. A well dressed man, meaning the suit has no single stain, smells fresh and is properly pressed earns the respect of the people around him and proves that she has a great woman in the house that truly takes care of him. That’s the custom way back then. Men don’t have a fashion guru like Carlo Lusso to give them tips on how to dress well, but they still manage to look their best. Although, comfort is not really much the priority in men fashion of yester years, we must be thankful that they have given us the two major qualities in fashion which is classicism and elegance.
Today, one of the most striking fashion changes in menswear was a widespread belief that clothing should be a bit more comfortable. The “comfort” aspect that is seemingly neglected in the past is the major consideration in men’s’ fashion nowadays. Men don’t just want to look classy and elegant in a suit, but they want to be comfortable in wearing it. It was very visible now that fashion's finger points to the low-cut dress shoe, not anymore the high cut ankle boot; the soft cotton dress collar from the golfer's wardrobe that were preferred to the high, stiff one that Elvis Presley was famous of; belts were trumping suspenders; put away those bellbottom jeans and give way to leggings and fitted trousers; good-bye tail coats, and hello tuxedo and welcome fitted suits for men. These are just some of the many changes in men fashion to achieve that comfort feeling without compromising the sense of classicism and elegance.
Tomorrow will be a whole new world for sure in men’s fashion. We can already have a clear vision that the more our world becomes advanced and modernized in terms of machines in manufacturing clothes; we can expect a great change in the texture and the over-all look of all apparels. We have already succeeded to be comfortable in all the clothes we wear. We don’t have an aim yet for tomorrow. But since man by nature can never be contented on everything, for sure those creative minds are already on works for what will be expected for tomorrow.

Becoming Successful with Men’s Interview Suits

In the world of business, one of the many things that need attention is the dress code that requires to be followed strictly. This is every career’s demand since through a dress or a suit does a man’s personality and presentation can be perceived. Suits for men play an important role in this kind of industry. It says a lot of things; and for decades, it has become as well as an emblem of success for business in the business world.

However, every success always starts at the bottom. For this, each person who opted to indulge in the business industry must undergo, first and foremost, an interview. An interview plays an important role in every man’s career; here starts how a person will write his success in aiming for his own goal. Aside from the behavior and communication skills a candidate must show in front of his interviewer, a well presented clothes/suit must be worn as well. Dress codes are very essential in interviews since clothes connote the kind of personality a person possesses.  In fact, a suit can either make or unmake a person’s impression. Thus, improper dressing or shabby dressing can create a bothersome situation. But on the other hand, proper clothing creates a better and positive result in favor of the candidate. This way, proper suits reflects one’s personality and can, therefore, create an image that one is serious about the job and the industry in which he seeks employment. As a maxim goes: “Be interviewed to impress and for success.”

The consideration in choosing the right suit for one’s interview is not the question whether one will look better in wearing a custom made men’s suit or an inexpensive mens suits; but as long as that one knows the main things to do in suit choosing, one can always claim the success he is dreaming of. Hence, taking note of several things is very essential.

Four main things can be noted in this regard: the suit must fit perfectly; the color must complement in every way, there must be proper fabric, and lastly, should feel comfortable when being worn. First thing must be the suit cut. Men can choose between a traditional European cut that looks more a tailored and fitted suit; and an American cut which is loser and more boxy. Thus, the cut must be measured to fit perfectly in one’s body thus avoid looking terrible if it’s not so much fitted on the physique of the wearer.

The right suit color is the next on the list. Black suits are distinguishingly perfect since it gives off a more professional look. Dark blue and gray are appropriate alternative for the black one. But regardless of other options, the color tone or the skin complexion of the wearer must be taken note first to complement well him better. Considering for the good fabric must also be taken into account since suit fabric affects so much how a person feels. Lastly, putting into accessories must only be simple; too much of it can be a distraction.

Consequently, what is more important in interviews is the confidence one has. So, wear it always as one aspires to be on the pinnacle of success.
