Robert De Niro Jr. bags Cecil B. Demille Award 2011

For almost 50 fruitful years of being in the movie industry as a renowned actor, director and producer, Robert De Niro got the Cecil B. Demille Award for Lifetime Achievement given at the Golden Globe Awards night on January 17, 2010.
Robert De Niro was considered as one of the greatest actors of his generation and have played significant roles that earned him many awards such as an Academy Award for Best Author for the movie “Jake LaMotta” and four Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor in movies “New York, New York”, “Mignight Run”, “Analyze This”, and “Meet the Parents”.
This fellow is one true versatile actor because he can portray roles that call for; comedy scenes like the movie sequel “Meet the Parents” wherein he played as a funny father-in-law, action (“The Godfather” in which he portrays an influential young Vito who always wears tan suits , suspense (“Awakenings”), and even drama (“Jake LaMotta”). His recent action movie project is already set for release in 2011 entitled “The Killer Elite” in which he will co star with action superstar Jason Statham.
Aside from his acting career, this legend was also famous for directing box office movies including the “A Bronx Tale” and “The Good Shepherd”.
It was quite an achievement for a 67 year old good looking man. However, aside from his enthusiasm in acting and directing, he wants to further win the people’s hearts through their stomachs. According to Gourmet magazine and I quote, “De Niro is in negotiations with an internationally renowned chef, Natalia Jibladze, to launch a yet unnamed restaurant in Manhattan under his Tribeca trademark. He was in Malaysia recently, and while having lunch with the Malaysian Prime Minister's wife, was asked to open a Malay restaurant in Aloq Staq.” Sounds yummy!
Robert De Niro was as young like a model of men suits in that 1972 movie “The Godfather”.
The Best Movie Buddies Before: Robert De Niro’s grin is somewhat mysterious as he poses at the back of Al Pacino in the movie, “The Godfather II.”
The Best Movie Buddies Now: Just like the old days, still look equally fine-looking. These two are awesome partners in movies. In 2008, they reunited in the movie “The Righteous Kill”.
